The First Trimester

I had heard the horror stories of morning sickness, food aversions and odd cravings. But, honestly I thought I had a pretty hearty stomach--(tequila shots anyone), but boy was I wrong. I've spent most of the last few weeks throwing up atleast one meal a day and frequently two. After my doctor noticed I had actually lost a couple of pounds, he put me on an anti-nausea medication. This was able to subside my morning sickness, so I stopped throwing up on the side of I-69, but frequently led to a newer nighttime sickness. Everyone has been so supportive and I've heard "This is the way the babies are telling you they are happy & healthy" to "I hear if you have it rough during the first trimester, delivery is a breaze" My father-in-law even sent an "I'm sorry you've been barfing plant" We'll have to wait and see.

As for genders, it will probably be May before we know. At that time we'll also find out if they are fraternal or identical. I'll take some pictures this weekend of the 12 week belly, I've outgrown most of my regular pants with another 28 weeks to go!
