The week is finally here and history is being made. Aunt Cat is surely in the trenches, relishing in every moment of the week, reminding her why she lives in DC. Lilly says "Cat" now, when we talk about her aunt, so that's fun. This morning, was Addy's first purposeful "Lilly". Both girls have mastered "sissy", so the words are coming! Last night, we perfected our touchdown dance as we cheered on the Steelers to victory! Yes, with the Colts out and IU embarrassing its graduates right now, we've moved on to Steelers and Butler Bulldog fans! (Didn't I admit in a previous post I was a fair-weathered fan?)
We were in hibernation for 3 days last week as temperatures in the state stayed in single digits most of the week. Here's a game we played to burn off some energy. Don't judge, I never had a dog growing up...
Hope everyone else is staying warm! Think thoughts of SPRING!

Henry enjoys playing the exact same game! Good to know I'm not the only one who plays fetch with her children...
Wow, what an EXCELLENT idea! I guess because we already have dogs (who we don't play fetch with anyway), this never occurred to me, but I am definitely going to give it a try this week! Winter just got a little more interesting!! :)
Gina loves to play "fetch" accept we call it "catch". She usually misses and then runs after it and carries it back to us. It doesn't get old to her, it is usually me to end the game.
Happy Inauguration Week Addy & Lilly! It is crazy here in DC - exciting but crazy - it is like being invaded! I loved hearing you guys say my name on Friday - am happy to have a short name! I hope you guys are will watch the speech tomorrow on TV - look for your Aunt Cat! I am not so sure about this fetch game....
Anyway - thank goodness republican rule is over! Celebrate tomorrow girls - maybe you can have some grilled cheeses to celebrate! Aunt Cat will have some champagne;)
Ha ha. That's so funny that they like playing fetch. It's not mean if they enjoy it, which they seem to!! :)
What is not funny is the Steelers fan thing. :/ You can't go from being a Colts fan to rooting for the Steelers. *tsk tsk tsk*
Claire made me play the video 7 times and then got mad when I said no more! Very cute!

I know Aunt Cat hates the polyster Colts jerseys, but seeing them in Steelers shirts is just plain wrong!! Where is the pride? Where is the loyalty? This is just another reminder that Jeremy has no backbone (that one's from Teague). I'm hoping he was not in that picture because he was wearing his Colts jersey.
