"She just wasn't herself today." said Ms. Jackie, her teacher at the Mom's Day Out program
"She screamed unless she was in someone's arms." mentioned the supervisor at the YMCA child watch (she was there for 20 minutes)
"She was so sad." said Grandma Jody when I left Lilly with her yesterday to go buy milk (maybe 15 minutes)
So is this just a terrible phase? Could it be that her ears are bothering her this much? Keep in mind she also isn't napping longer than 1 hour or so and is sleeping from 7:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (yes that early!). So, what's a mom to do? On the flip side, when I'm around she's smiley, happy, manipulative Lilly (she knows exactly how to get her way!)....She's scheduled for tubes on March 31st. Hopefully that will be the fix we need, otherwise, what am I going to blame these mood swings on???
"Skyping" with Grandma Sadler or Aunt Cat (a new favorite thing to do!)
Playdough Party with Mallory (first experience--went well but they all attempted to eat it at first!)
Enjoying a little night cap in our new chairs....
On a lighter note, Addy is a RIOT right now, full of energy, never stops moving and is keeping us laughing through Lilly's meltdowns!
